Petit Manan

The petit manan refuge has two main trails to hike.

The islands vary in size from 0 5 1 321 acres. The petit manan light station consists of a light tower keeper s house boathouse and other outbuildings.

Petit manan ambulance has been in service for 41 years founded by peter sawyer and sonja sawyer. The light is a conical granite tower standing at 119 feet tall making this the second tallest light house in maine. It is listed in the national register of historic places.
